Typography Creation - Euphoria Typography Design
The creation of a typeface is fundamental, it determines how a message is visually communicated. It facilitates reading, conveys an identity and establishes a tone.
“Euphoria” is a sans serif typeface that reflects the irregularity of emotions in a state of euphoria. Its wavy strokes and variations in thickness represent how sensations fluctuate between highs and lows, capturing the essence of this ever-changing state of mind.
Euforia began as a concept, sketched by hand to capture its fluid, expressive forms. After refining each letter, I digitized them, adjusted the strokes for cohesion, and fine-tuned the spacing. Finally, I explored its use in different contexts and colors, bringing the typeface to life.
The main purpose of this typeface is to be used in titles and prints. It has experimental characteristics trying to create textures, expressions and irregular figures.
